What I learned

During my visit to meet the Little Man I learned to embrace higher ISO levels. I'm so happy that I can shoot above 200 and not start to get noise! This one here is at ISO 500 1/50ss and f2.5 thankfully there wasn't too much movement because my shutter speed was still a little slower that I would have liked.

I also learned that I need to consider an additional lens. My 50mm isn't the best choice in a small room like that, group shots are pretty much impossible. Any suggestions?

This is Auntie Jen with the Little Man :)

Wow! This is great! Especially considering it was taken in a hospital!! I'm so happy you are comfortable changing your ISO! You could have even bumped it higher like you said to increase your shutter speed. It looks really sharp though despite the low number :O) I love how you set this up with the focus being on that precious baby!! Great photo! I'm sure the little guy's mama is going to love it! Sorry you missed out on linking up!

Are you shooting with Nikon or Canon? The 24-70 2.8 is amazing and never leaves my camera :) Also, you can download a noise reduction program that saves pretty much any pic that has noise. I use Noiseware.
